Luitpold-Alexander Zollorsch

Khôi Nguyên/Luit (37) · Made in EU, based in VN · AI Engineer · Blogger & Bon vivant · Humanist by Design ·

Hi, I'm Luit. Luitpold-Alexander on paper (yes, it's a real name; no, I didn't pick it), Khôi Nguyên since Vietnam started calling me something it could actually pronounce. Munich, 1988. German by passport, European by conviction, Earthling for whatever's left over.

Twenty years ago an agency in southern Germany handed me PHP backends on Monday and print posters on Wednesday. Munich, then Frankfurt, then a one-way flight into the heat of Sài Gòn. The tools kept swapping themselves out underneath me. The job never did.

These days I orchestrate AI at GRADION - multi-agent systems that take a requirement in one end and hand back something you can actually ship. I still write the frontend by hand where precision matters. Off the clock: some city-builder, or rebuilding lui.vn again, because the web was better when it was small and weird.

Six things people ask

Work, and everything that isn't

  • work

What I do for a living

Senior AI/LLM engineer and orchestrator at GRADION, plus its AI Ambassador - which mostly means I'm the one people corner in the kitchen to ask whether the robots are coming for them. Mind you, sometimes the honest answer is yes. I build the multi-agent systems, and I still write the React and TypeScript by hand where it counts.

  • work

    One I'm proud of

Tér, the AI coaching app I built with Ember Associates. Six-session journeys, a diary, a voice that talks back, and one button that hands the conversation to an actual human coach when the model is out of its depth. I argued hardest for that last one.

  • love

    Retro city-builders

City builders and strategy, the older and blockier the better. Caesar III, Anno 1602, SimCity 2000. Minecraft stopped being a game somewhere around 2013 and quietly became my second operating system.

  • love

    Concrete, cities & sound

I read about concrete like other people read thrillers. Load-bearing walls, metro extensions, who is suing whom over a bridge. Architecture and music get more of my attention than either has ever asked for.

  • love

    The weird old web

lui.vn has outlived Flash, Google Reader and my patience with three separate frameworks. Twenty-six themes so far, all mine, every one of them convinced it was going to be the last.

Building something where software meets actual intelligence? Let's talk 🤘🏽
